This two-day, hands-on course provides practical training in the recognition and identification of human and animal skeletal remains. Participants will gain extensive experience examining human and animal bones while learning the fundamentals of human osteology and the key characteristics used to distinguish human from non-human remains.

This approved for 16 hours of IAI Crime Scene Certification and Recertification and ABMDI continuing education hours.
Attendance Policy: Students must attend this class to receive a certificate. Students that have enrolled in the class but need to cancel shall contact Suncoast Forensics at meredith@suncoastforensics.com at least 15 calendar days prior to the start of the class. Cancellations made less than 15 calendar days prior to the start of the class will be subject to a $200 cancellation fee. No shows for the class will result in a non-refundable class fee. This fee will be waived in instances of legitimate emergencies. If an agency needs to send a substitution in place of a registered student, contact Suncoast Forensics to provide updated student information.
