about the instructor

Meredith Tise, PhD

 

Dr. Meredith Tise is an experienced forensic anthropologist and the owner of Suncoast Forensics, where she leads consulting and training services. She serves as the consulting forensic anthropologist for the District Six Medical Examiner’s Office (FL) and the DeKalb County Medical Examiner’s Office (GA) and collaborates with medical examiner and coroner offices nationwide.


With extensive experience in forensic investigations, Dr. Tise has held key positions, including Forensic Anthropology Fellow at the Pima County Medical Examiner’s Office, Laboratory Manager for the USF Dozier School for Boys Boot Hill Cemetery Project, and Recovery Leader with History Flight for WWII MIA/KIA missions.


Her expertise spans domestic and international forensic cases, with analyses conducted across the U.S. and in countries such as France, Germany, and South Africa. Dr. Tise has contributed to the study of over 2,000 skeletons, advancing research and practice in forensic anthropology.
